Introducing The Vixens match day sponsor, Weball.

Manchester Vixen’s FC is delighted to announce Weball as our official match day sponsor for the upcoming season. The partnership was decided through a fundraising sweepstakes that offered local independent businesses a chance to win the title for an entry fee of just £20.

The response from the community was overwhelming. As a fully independent club with no affiliation to an existing club or men's team, the support from small businesses as well as donations from Vixens players' friends and family raised vital funds that will go directly into the day-to-day running costs of the club, ensuring the club remain supported on and off the pitch.

When the winner was selected at random, Weball emerged as the sponsor. Weball is a dedicated digital platform that helps fans across the UK find local pubs and bars broadcasting live women's football. Partnering a grassroots women's team with a business built entirely on growing the audience for the women's game represents a seamless community alignment.

It is an incredibly busy and exciting week for our new sponsors. Weball is celebrating the highly anticipated return of the Women's Super League (WSL) by hosting their first-ever live watch party. The event takes place tomorrow, Friday, 4 September, from 6:00 PM at Spinners Rest in Ancoats, where fans will gather to watch the season opener between London City Lionesses and Manchester United Women (7:00 PM kick-off).

The momentum carries straight into the weekend for the Vixens. Weball's official match day sponsorship will debut this Sunday, 6 September 2026, when Manchester Vixen's FC face Ramsbottom Reserves. The match features a 2:00 PM kick-off and marks a monumental milestone for the club: the very first fixture at our brand-new home ground, St Mary's Catholic High School in Astley.

Manchester Vixen's FC encourages all players, families, and supporters to follow @weballconnect on Instagram, head down to the Spinners Rest tomorrow night to support their launch, and join the club this Sunday at 2:00 PM to celebrate a new chapter at St Mary's!
